one of the first concerts, if not the first concert, i went to without my parents: Metallica, Dr. Dre with Eminem and Snoop Doggy Dog (sic), Kid Rock, Filter and Red Hot Chili Peppers. i believe this was the time when rhcp liked to perform wearing only a sock. i also believe i was slightly scandalized.
